About

Danny Parker is a documentary filmmaker, camera operator and editor, originally from Cornwall and now based near London. His work sits at the meeting point of subculture and craft: stories built from the inside, about people for whom what they do and who they are aren’t really separate things.

He started out shooting skate photography over a decade ago, publishing in magazines including Sidewalk and Vague, before training with an MA in Film and Television at Falmouth University and moving into documentary film. It’s a grounding that still shapes the work, whether it’s about skateboarders, chefs, artists or anyone else following their obsessions.

Recent projects include camera work on a Red Bull production, and directing a full documentary project for The Ben Raemers Foundation, a charity that promotes suicide awareness within skateboarding.
